The original plan was to make a long documentary recapping his whole career mixing storytelling with technical analysis, but that's now impossible for me to do. I hope you like this short documentary. I worked on it for 2 months (research, writing, editing...), and thanks to my friend Chris for the great voice over. Writing & Editing: B. 7:44 look at that fucking shoulder barge. Dangerous and reckless, he deserved to be poked up the ass.
Absolutely loved this short documentary. Cav started riding in the Tour the same time I really started paying attention to cycling. Watching his many victories over these years has been exhilarating.
stop using public streets
This is great! Would love to know what soundtrack was used at @1:35
i dont know a thing about professional cycling but i loved this documentary! thanks!
Cycling needs a reset in how it's organized. Especially considering the salaries are nowhere near that of other extremely popular sports. People should pay to get close to the action. Perhaps bike races should end in velodromes more often.
Amazing video making skills. I was never interested at all in this kind of cycling. This video made me sit at the edge of my seat.
How about stop closing roads to do your dumb cycling race?
This is a nonsense… they should be arrested …
these "people" seeking puplic attention really make me sick......but hey....the world is full of "i###s"......
I would advice to never take your hands of the grips.
What an amazing documentary. Thanks ❤
Looks like the spectators hasn't evolved like most human beings.
Armstrong isthe BIGGEST FOOL…
This stuff is addictive
You don't like people on public roads, how about don't ride your bike's on public roads? Build a big track and ride in circles for the same distance. Problem solved. And you aren't messing with traffic.
"This sport is so brutal". Words of the softest man on earth
🤌mamamia he cooked!
The FDJ rider went out of his lane.
Lets face it most of them are french... its not their fault 😅 just have it in another country
Il y a des idiots qu'il faudrait abattre sur place .
Cyclist: "I'm gonna win! I can't believe I'm gonna win" And just at that moment some dumb fat loser started crossing the street.
“A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky dangerous animals and you know it.”
He is MVP. The no 1.
Crazy this many people even show up to watch a cycling event 😂
This is how drivers feel about cyclists, interstesting🤔
the risks of riding a bike you got a little bit of road rash lol wtf
so an exciting video to watch and the voice over was the cherry on the cake. amazing
Sagan deez nuts
That spectators bike story, how crazy
Europe has lost all respect for one of it's greatest sporting events. Time for a closed course.
Great job! Very easy to fall to it.
I think the word i'm looking for is, twats.
I dont care about biking but this is the best video Ive seen in a while. its so exciting to watch. well done!
Maybe they can’t put barriers up for the whole race but they could have jail sentences, very harsh ones.
why is this giving me goosebumps???
Poel was right. The other rider blocked him.
Steep fines and jail time would have been the perfect deterence. No exceptions. Negligence and ignorance are no excuse. You crash a cyclist, you get a fine and or jail. You wanna risk being so close? Fine or jail. And not even a small fine. Like €10k min, and 2 months jail time min. 3-4 people will get this and people will start fuckin learning.
Cyclists sporting: ooh crowds are insane, this needs to change, people have no respect. Cyclists daily on the road: People are insane, cars aren't meant for the road, and side walks aren't meant for people. You guys are totally right, fans are dumb, and if they appreciate the sport they should respect and stop interfering during events and fined heavily if they do. AT the same time, it should be a "Carmagedon" on the roads, daily and cyclist give the most points.
Люди это стадо обезьян, ничего не поменялось.
When I first read the title I thought it was about the other cyclist, Andrie van der Poel from the 80s/90s.
Get of the street and race on a track or stop whining.
As a cycling fan I feel you over hyped his accomplishments. nonetheless good video
The event organizers should put more distance allowed between the crowd and the cyclists as a PURE logical safety for everyone. These people standing to closer than they should are the results of all the problems and should be help accountable for It.
Sports fans... Always worth a cringe
Wow
No wonder crowds are out of control ending career in suffering with joker of consequence
Guest commentary by the big super doper! 😂😂😂
Dutch national championships controversy looked like a example of phenomenal bike handling skills and cunning. FDJ rider unsportsmenly tries to close the door instead of go toe to toe with Vanderpoel. Taking a hand off the bars going very fast in a frantic sprint and staying upright is a extreme show of skill. He alerts the rider he wants past but the rider keeps closing the door. So Vanderpoel puts his hand back on the bar and in text book passing form physically nudges the rider out of the way which is what he deserved by the looks of it to me. Amazing neither wet down, again a amazing show of skill by Vanderpoel. I don't think there was a thing wrong with Vanderpoel's actions. The FDJ rider knew what he was doing.
This video makes tour de France fun
